Carrie Underwood

 Carrie Marie Underwood (born March 10, 1983)is an American country artist. After being the winner of season four of American Idol 2005, she rose to fame. She was the first country artist to debut at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts and the only solo artist to make it to the top position on the Hot 100 in 2000s. Some Hearts, her debut album, was followed by the pop-punk singles "Jesus, Take the Wheel" as well as "Before He Cheats". It became the most successful solo debut album of a woman in the history of country music. The album won her three Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist. The album that followed, Carnival Ride (2007) had one of the biggest opening weeks ever by a female artist and won two Grammy Awards. The third studio album, "Play On", was preceded in part by the hit single "Cowboy Casanova" that saw one of the biggest single-week upward movements on Hot 100.
