Angelina Jolie[3]DCMG (/dZoU’li born Angelina Jolie Voight, June 4, 1975) is an American actress. She is also a film maker and humanitarian. She has been awarded numerous accolades including three Golden Globe Awards and an Academy Award. Her film career took off 10 years later in Cyborg 2 (1993), which was followed by Hackers (1995) in which she played her first main role. She was a star in biographical cable movies George Wallace (1997) and Gia (1998). In 1999, she was awarded the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her part as the video game character in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) established her as a leading Hollywood actress. Her action-star career continued after Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005) and Wanted (2008).
