Gal Gadot-Varsano (Hebrew: gl gdvt ['gal ga'dotborn on 30 April 1985) is an Israeli model and actress. At the age of 18, she was crowned Miss Israel 2004. She then served in the Israel Defense Forces for two years as instructor for combat fitness after which she started her studies at IDC Herzliya while building her acting and modeling careers.Her first film appearance in the international arena was Fast & Furious (2009) where she starred as Gisele Yashar She reprised the role of Yashar in subsequent episodes of The Fast Saga. Gadot was able to attain worldwide fame for her portrayal of Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe as well as in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Wonder Woman (2017) and Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021). Gadot has also appeared in the Netflix comedy Red Notice (2021), as well as the mystery film Death on the Nile (2022). She was named as the "biggest Israeli star" by local media sources.
