Radric Delantic Davis (born on February 12, 1980) also known as Gucci Mane, is an American rapper and record executive. He helped pioneer the hip hop subgenre of trap music alongside Atlanta-based rappers T.I. and Young Jeezy, particularly in the 2000s and the 2010s. In 2005, Gucci Mane debuted with Trap House, followed by his second album, Hard to Kill in 2006. The third album Back to the Trap House was released in 2007. Following a string of commercially as well as critically successful mixtapes Gucci Mane's fourth studio album, The state vs. Radric was released in 2007. It was his first album to be certified gold. After a stint in prison between 2014 and 2016, Gucci Mane came back with several retail albums which included All of Us Looking (2016). This album was highly praised by the critics. Gucci Mane's collaboration in 2016 with Rae Sremmurd was titled "Black Beatles". It was his first top ten track in the US Billboard Hot 100 charts.
