Hilary Erhard Duff (born September 28th 1987) is an American performer and actress. She has received many awards such as seven Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, four Teen Choice Awards and two Young Artist Awards. Her acting career began as a child, quickly being labeled an teen idol as the main character in the television series, Lizzie McGuire (2001-2004), and in the film based on the show, The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003).Thereafter she was in numerous mainstream films like Cadet Kelly (2002), Agent Cody Banks (2003), Cheaper by the Dozen (2003) and A Cinderella Story (2004). Then, she appeared in independent films, playing a range of adult-themed characters. Some of them include War, Inc. (2008), According to Greta (2009), The Haunting of Sharon Tate (2017), which was inspired by the Tate-LaBianca murder. Duff played Kelsey Peters on TV from 2015 to 2021.
