 Jermaine Cole, who was born January 28 1985, is an American rapper from the United States. He is also a musician, singer, and record producer. Cole was born in Germany on a military base and raised in Fayetteville. Cole first came to notoriety as a rapper in 2007 with the release of The Come Up, his debut mixtape. Cole released his first studio album, Cole World, The Sideline Story in 2011, in an effort to pursue an acting career. The album was ranked number one on the US Billboard 200. [5] His next album, Born Sinner (2013) was also the top album on the Billboard 200. 2014 Forest Hills Drive (2014), an album with more consciousness, topped the Billboard 200. Cole received a Best Rap Album nomination from the 2015 Grammy Awards. His fourth album 4 Your Eyez Only (2016) was his jazz-influenced record. It debuted at the top of the charts at 1 on the Billboard 200.
