Her most famous role is for her role as Joey Potter in the TV series Dawson's Creek (1998-2003). Holmes's Broadway debut was in an Arthur Miller's All My Sons production in the year 2008. In 2011, she portrayed Jacqueline Kennedy in the television miniseries The Kennedys, a role she reprised in The Kennedys: After Camelot.
