Maggie Gyllenhaal

 Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal (/’dZIl@nho.l/; 16 November 1977) Also known by the name of Maggie Gyllenhaal is an American actress. The Gyllenhaal clan, she is the daughter of filmmakers Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Achs, and the older sister of actor Jake Gyllenhaal.She began her career when she was a teenager and had small roles in several of her father's films as well as a role with her brother in the cult favorite Donnie Darko (2001). She was then seen in Adaptation and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, both 2002, and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received critical acclaim for her performances as the lead in the erotic comedy drama Secretary (2002) and the drama Sherrybaby (2006) and Sherrybaby (2006), both of which resulted in an Golden Globe Award nomination. After a string of commercially successful films which included World Trade Center (2006), Gyllenhaal was recognized for her role in the role of Rachel Dawes, in The Dark Knight (2008).
