Margot Elise Robbie (/'ma:rgoU 'rabiborn on 2 July 1990) is an Australian actress and producer. Robbie is famous for her work in blockbuster films and independent films. She is nominated for five British Academy Film Awards, three Golden Globe Awards and two Academy Awards. Time magazine named Robbie one of the 100 most influential people around the globe in the year 2017. Forbes ranked her as one of the top-paid actors in the world in the year 2019. Robbie was born in Queensland and began her career on the television series Neighbours in the year 2008. The show was her regular spot on the show up until the year 2011. After making the move to America she starred in the TV series Pan Am (2011-2012), and made her debut in 2013 when she appeared in the dark comedy film The Wolf of Wall Street. Her fame grew with the lead roles of Jane Porter in The Legend of Tarzan (2016) and Harley Quinn in the DC superhero films Suicide Squad (2016), Birds of Prey (2020) and The Suicide Squad (2021).
