Martha Higareda

Higareda was the daughter of Jose Luis Higareda and actress Miriam Higareda. She was born in Villahermosa Tabasco, Mexico. The acting profession was her first passion and she also started dancing flamenco, tap, folklore, and tap from a young age. She relocated to Mexico City at 14 from Tabasco the country she grew up in to pursue acting. She made her debut in theater performing in plays such as "Little Women" or "Don Juan." "Being an advanced student, she entered College several years early at age 15 and began studying Communications at El Tecnologico de Monterrey. She was a student in the mornings and go to acting school in the evenings, as well as acting in the theater on weekends. A year later her sister and mother moved to Mexico City and attended acting school with her. Her first TV appearance was as anchor hostess on Disney Channel's Zapping Zone. A year later her sister and mother relocated to Mexico City to attend acting school along with Martha.
