Michelle Suzanne Dockery [better source is required (born 15 December 1981) is an English TV and film actress. Her most well-known part is in Lady Mary Crawley, an ITV period drama. The show was nominated for the Golden Globe Award and three Primetime Emmy Awards. Dockery also made her professional stage debut in His Dark Materials in 2004. As the character Eliza Doolittle in the 2007 London revival of Pygmalion the play, she was nominated for the Evening Standard Award. She was also nominated for the Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actress for her part in the play Burnt by the Sun. Dockery has appeared in the films Hanna (2011), Anna Karenina (2012), Non-Stop (2014) and The Gentlemen (2019).
