Nick Cannon

 Nicholas Scott Cannon (born October 8th in 1980) is an American television host as well as actor, rapper and comedian. In television, Cannon began as a teenager on All That before moving on to host The Nick Cannon Show, Wild 'n Out America's Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, as well as The Masked Singer. Cannon starred in the movies Drumline and Love Don't cost a Thing. He then went on to host The Nick Cannon Show Wild 'n Out America's Got Talent Lip Sync Battle Shorties as well as The Masked Singer. In 2003, he released his self-titled debut album, which featured the single "Gigolo", a collaboration with R. Kelly. He played the character of the movie Goal II: Living the Dream of TJ Harper who was an imaginary football player. Cannon recorded "Dime Piece" in 2006 as well as "My Wife" on the album Stages. This album was not released. Cannon was raised mostly by his paternal grandfather whom both he and his biological father called "dad". When he was a kid, Cannon grew up in Lincoln Park's Bay Vista Housing Projects, that is a notorious gang-ridden area of Southeast San Diego. In his teen years Cannon was part of the "Lincoln Park Bloods" street gang, but said that he resigned his affiliations after losing an important friend.
