Scotty Maurice Pippen Sr., also known as Scottie Pippen is an American former professional basketball player. He was born on September 25, 1965. He played for the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 17 years, and won six NBA championships together with his team, the Chicago Bulls. Pippen is considered one of the greatest small forwards to ever play. He played a significant role in the evolution of the Bulls into a championship team and in the popularization of the NBA throughout the 1990s. He was seven-time NBA All-Star and was the NBA All-Star Game MVP in 1994. The Chicago Bulls named him one of the 50 most outstanding players of the NBA in the 1996-97 season. He was also among four players who had their jersey removed by the Bulls (the other three being Jerry Sloan and Bob Love). He was an integral part of both the Chicago Bulls Championship and 1996 Chicago Bulls Championship teams and was selected as two of the top 10 Teams.
