Sherry Jackson

 Sherry D. Jackson (born February 15, 1942) is an American retired actress and former child star.In 1950, young Sherry was introduced to actor Steve Cochran as she worked with him on The Lion and the Horse. Sherry was introduced to Montgomery Pittman by Steve, a writer. A relationship developed and Pittman married Maurita Jackson in a modest ceremony on June 4 1952 in Torrance, California, with Sherry as the flower girl and younger brother Gary as the ring bearer. Cochran himself was Pittman's best man. In 1955 Cochran hired Pittman to compose the next movie, Come Next Spring, the first of his films that Cochran wrote and produced by himself. Sherry was the character of Cochran's silent step-daughter Annie Ballot. This role was written by Pittman specifically for Cochran.
