Asad Hanif

 Abdullah Hanif (born 17 September 1982) is an former international cricketer who played for the United Arab Emirates national team during the 2004 ICC Intercontinental Cup. He was an all-rounder, batting left-handed and bowling with his right arm medium pace.Hanif was a member of the UAE under-19s in the 2001 Youth Asia Cup in Nepal. As vice-captain, he served as Mohammad Usman's teammate. Hanif was chosen for the UAE senior team in the match against Nepal in the month of March 2004. This was the first-ever First-class game. He finished third in both of the innings and scored 12 runs in the first, while he scored nine runs in the second. Also, he was the first bowler in Nepal's opening innings, amidst Asim Saeed and Ali Asad, but was only employed for two runs. He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2013 and Bangla Academy Literary Award in 1987.
