Connie Inge–Lise Nielsen was born 3 July 1965. She has starred in the role of Lucilla in the movie Gladiator (2000) as well as Hippolyta in the DC Extended Universe, and in the films Wonder Woman (2017), Justice League (2017), Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) as well as Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021).She has also been in movies such as Soldier (1998), Mission to Mars (2000), One Hour Photo (2002), Basic (2003), The Hunted (2003), The Ice Harvest (2005), Nymphomaniac (2013), 3 Days to Kill (2014), Inheritance (2020), and No One (2021).She was also a part of the NBC crime drama series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2006), the Starz political drama series Boss (2011-2012) as well as the Fox crime thriller series The Following (2014), the TNT limited drama series I Am the Night (2019) and also appeared in the Channel 4 drama series Close to Me in 2021.Denmark. Her father, Bent Nielsen was bus driver, as was her mother, Laila Inge-lise Matzigkeit (1945-2014) was an insurance professional who also performed and composed musical.
