He is an actor from the United States of America and former professional wrestler. He is widely considered to be one of the top professional wrestlers of all time, he was integral to the growth and success of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, which is now WWE) in the Attitude Era, a business boom time during the latter part of the 1990s and early 2000s. Johnson was a wrestler with the WWF for eight years prior to pursuing an acting career. His films have grossed over $3.5 billion in North America and over $10.5 billion globally which makes Johnson one of the highest-grossing and highest-paid actors.Prior to his rise as an actor who is the top-grossing in the decade of 2010, Johnson was an athlete. In his time at Freedom High School in Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley, he ultimately was a star on the school's football and wrestling teams. Both of them competed in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference, a conference known for producing the best professional and Olympic athletes. The coach at his high school helped in motivating him to take positive steps in his life.
