He is also know for his role as the CTO and CEO of SpaceX and the chairman of SolarCity. Elon Musk holds the record as the most successful person on earth and also the most successful person in the history of modern times. Elon Musk holds around 24% of Tesla's outstanding shares, and 43% of the privately-held SpaceX. In October 2021 , Tesla's market cap broke $1 trillion for the first time. In the same month, SpaceX raided money at 100 billion dollars. Elon Musk's net worth now stood at $300 billion. He began learning computer programming as a child. When he was 12, he had coded and released his first computer game, Blastar. He went to Queen's University, Ontario, and eventually completed his studies at the Wharton School of Pennsylvania with two degrees in business and physics.
