Lucy Verasamy (born 2 August 1980) is a British forecaster of weather for ITV Weather, ITV Racing and ITV's Good Morning Britain.Verasamy was born in King's Lynn, Norfolk, and attended Silfield Primary School in Wymondham, Framlingham College Junior School in Suffolk and King Edward VII School in King's Lynn, where she took A-level geography. In 2001 she graduated from Brunel University with the BSc. Hons. degree in geography. She went on to become meteorologist for the Press Association's Weather Center (later changed to Meteogroup - Europe's largest private Weather Company) which was a weather forecasting company that wrote for television, radio and newspapers. Verasamy, who had previously worked at the Sky Weather Centre as a trainee meteorologist prior to becoming a regular meteorologist on Sky News' Sunrise breakfast show, joined Sky. Sky News launched a Climate Clinic - Ask Lucy feature in 2007 as part of its Green Britain campaign.
