Aisha Nilaja Tyler (born September 18, 1970) is an American actor, comedian, director and talk show host. She is best known for her roles as Andrea Marino on Ghost Whisperer and Dr. Tara Lewis and Mother Nature in The Santa Clause films. She also appeared in Archer and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In addition to hosting seasons two through seven and winning the Daytime Emmy Award as Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host. Since 2013, she has hosted Whose Line Is It to You?. She has also been a host for Ubisoft's E3 press conferences and provided her voice for the games for video players like Halo: Reach, Gears of War 3 and Watch Dogs.Tyler was born on September 18, 1970, in San Francisco, California, the daughter of Robin Gregory, a teacher, as well as James Tyler, a photographer.The family was in Ethiopia and later spent time in an ashram located in Oakland, California. When she was 10years old, her parents separated. She was then fostered by her father.
