 Blake Ellender Lively (nye Brown born on 25 August 1987) is an American actress. Lively was born in Los Angeles. She is the daughter of actor Ernie Lively and made her professional acting debut in his directorial debut film Sandman (1998). She was the lead character in Bridget Vreeland in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005) and the sequel The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (2008) to commercial success. She was a co-star with Justin Long in the comedy Accepted (2006) and gained notability and widespread recognition for her role as Serena van der Woodsen in the CW TV series for teens called Gossip Girl (2007-2012).She has starred in romantic comedies such as New York, I Love You (2008) and The Private Lives of Pippa Lee (2009). She was a co-star with Ben Affleck as The Town (2010) and appeared in Green Lantern (2011) with Ryan Reynolds. She was in the ensemble cast
