George Strait

 George Harvey Strait Sr. (born May 18th 1952) is a famous American country music singer and songwriter, actor and music producer. Strait is frequently referred to as the "King of Country", and is a well-known musician, singer as well as songwriter, actor and music producer from the United American. The first single he released, "Unwound", was released in 1981. It led to the widespread rise of the neotraditional style. In the 1980s seven of his albums made it to the top spot on the charts for country. Strait won his first Grammy for his album Troubadour in 2000. He was also named Artist of the Decade at the Academy of Country Music and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Strait was named the CMA Entertainer of the Year in 1989 as well as 1990 and 2013.
