James William Nantz III, born on 17 May 1959, is an American sportscaster. He has been doing telecasts with CBS Sports of the National Football League (NFL), NCAA Division I Men's Basketball and the NBA as well as the PGA Tour since the 1980s. Since 1989, Nantz has been anchoring CBS's Masters Tournament coverage. He is also the CBS Sports ' lead play-by-play announcer. Bamm Hollow Country Club was his first place of residence. He then attended the University of Houston, where was a member of their golf team for men. In 1981, He graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor's in Radio and Television Broadcasting.
