Emilie Ullerup (born 27 October 1984) is an Danish actress. Her most famous role is that of Ashley Magnus in the TV series Sanctuary and Bree O'Brien in the Hallmark Channel drama series Chesapeake Shores. Ullerup was born in Copenhagen to Ove Ullerup-Petersen a diplomat's daughter. After graduating from high school in Copenhagen in 2003, she relocated to Vancouver, Lower Mainland, British Columbia, Canada, and went to the Vancouver Film School, graduating in 2005.Ullerup's first role was that of Julia Brynn on the remake the television show Battlestar Galactica in 2006, which aired on the Sci Fi Channel.She played Ashley Magnus in the first and second seasons of the television show Sanctuary until her character was cut from the show. The reason for her departure was the subject of debate among fans who were seeking her return in the future, up until the show was pulled in the year 2012.
