Lauren Holly was born October 28th, 1963. She has played the role of the Sheriff's Deputy Maxine Stewart on the TV series Picket Fences, NCIS Director Jenny Shepard in the television series NCIS, Dr. Betty Rogers on Motive, Mary Swanson in Dumb and Dumber Bruce Lee's wife Linda Lee in Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, Darian Smalls in Beautiful Girls, and Gigi in What Women Want.Holly's acting career started at the age of 20 when she starred as Carla Walicki in two episodes of Hill Street Blues. She was 23 when she was chosen in the role of Julie Rand Chandler in ABC's soap opera All My Children (1986-1989). Holly portrayed Betty Cooper, a comic book character in the 1990 TV movie Archie: To Riverdale, and Back Again. In 1992, Holly was cast opposite Tom Skerritt as Maxine Stewart, a small-town deputy sheriff. She appeared in every episode, with the exception of one of the CBS Picket Fences seasons.
