Leonardo DiCaprio

 Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio (/di'kzprioU/; Italian: [di'ka:prjo] born November 11, 1974) is an American actor and film producer. He is famous for his role as a major actor in biopics and period films. He has won numerous awards including the Academy Award, British Academy Film Award and three Golden Globe Awards. The films he has made have earned over $7.2 billion globally in 2019. The actor has also been featured eight times on the list of top-paid actors in the world. DiCaprio was born in Los Angeles and began his career in the commercial world on television. He had several recurring roles in television shows such as Parenthood during the 90s. The first film in which he starred role was in the role of Tobias Wolff, an author as portrayed in This Boy's Life (1993). He was just 19 when he received praise for his portrayal as a boy suffering from an impairment in his development in What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993).
