Christopher Brian Bridges, born on the 11th of September 1977, is a American rapper, actor and record executive. In the late 1990s, he started Disturbing tha Peace, and then joined Def Jam South. He became one of the initial Dirty South rappers with numerous albums to his name. For his music, Ludacris has won three Grammy Awards and an MTV Video Music Award. After a brief time as a DJ, he released Incognegro, his first independent album in 1999. It was met with local popularity. The album received national recognition when it was repackaged and reissued by major labels under the title Back for the First Time. It included the most popular singles.
