Marilu Henner

 American actress Mary Lucy Denise Henner. After beginning her career in the 1971 musical Grease, Henner made her screen debut in the comedy-drama Between the Lines in 1977. In 1977 she was cast in the role of Elaine O'Connor Nardo on the sitcom ABC/NBC Taxi. She was awarded five Golden Globe Award nominations. She appeared in a variety of films, including Hammett (1982), The Man Who Loved Women (83) The Man Who Loved Women (83) Dangerously (1984) and Johnny Dangerously (1884), RustlersThe ' Rhapsody (1985), Ladykillers (88), L.A. Story (1991) and Noises Off (1992). Her return to television was with a an starring role on the CBS sitcom Evening Shade (1990-1994), and then later, she played lead parts in a variety of made-for-television movies.Henner was born in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Loretta Callis (born Nikoleta Kalogeropoulos), who died of arthritis at the age of 58, and Joseph Henner (whose surname was originally Pudlowski) who passed away from a heart attack at age 52.
