Monica Bellucci

 Monica Anna Maria Bellucci (Italian: ['mo:nika bel'luttSi]; born 30 September 1964) is an Italian actress and model. Her career began as a fashion model modelling for Dolce & Gabbana and Dior, before making a transition to Italian films and then American as well as French films.She made her debut film appearance in Francesco Laudadio's Italian comedy La Riffa (1991). She played the Bride of Dracula in Francis Ford Coppola’s horror romance Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) the next year. She received the Cesar Award for Most Promising actress for her part in L'Appartement (1997). She played Malena Scordia in Giuseppe Tornatore's acclaimed Italian romantic comedy Malena (2000). Gaspar Noe's arthouse psychological thriller film Irreversible (2002, Cannes Film Festival) was her first major part. In 2004, she portrayed Mary Magdalene in Mel Gibson's biblical drama The Passion of the Christ (2004). She played Persephone in 2003's science fiction film The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. At the age of 51 through her appearance in the 2015 James Bond film Spectre, she became the oldest Bond girl in the history of the franchise.
