Raven-Symony Christina Pearman-Maday (/sI'moUnRaven-Symony Christina Pearman-Maday (/sI'm) (nye Pearman, born December 10, 1985), also known as a mononym Raven, is an American singer, actress, and music producer. She has been honored with numerous awards such as five NAACP Image Awards and two Kids Choice Awards. Three Young Artist Awards were presented to her, along with three Daytime Emmy Award nominations. In 2012, she was featured in VH1's list of "100 most influential Child Stars of All Time".Raven-Symony began her career as a child actress, appearing as Olivia Kendall on The Cosby Show (1989-1992) as well as Nicole Lee on Hangin' with Mr. Cooper (1993-1997) Both of these roles earned her numerous awards and nominations. She was just 15 when she was chosen to play Raven Baxter in the Disney Channel television show That's So Raven (1993-1992). In this role she was nominated for and was awarded many awards. Film credits she has included include Dr. Dolittle (1998) and its sequel Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001), The Princess Diaries 2 (2004) as well as College Road Trip (2008) All of which were box office successes. Her television film credits include Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century (1999), its sequel Zenon: Z3 (2004), The Cheetah Girls (2003),
