Thomas Stanley Holland, born 1 June 1996 in England and is an actor. His awards include an award from the British Academy Film Award, three Saturn Awards, a Guinness World Record and a spot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list. He has been called one of the most well-known actors of his generation by some publications. At nine years old He began dancing in a dance class. A choreographer noticed him and invited him to audition for the part in Billy Elliot the Musical at the London's Victoria Palace Theatre. After two years of training Holland was given a support role in 2008, and then was promoted to the main part of the year. The actor continued his acting career up to the year 2010. Holland made his film debut in the drama about disasters The Impossible (2012) as teenagers trapped in a tsunami, for which Holland was awarded the London Film Critics Circle Award for Young British Performer of the Year. Following this, Holland decided to pursue acting as a full-time career and was featured in the film How I Live Now (2013) and playing historical figures in the feature film In the Heart of the Sea (2015) as well as the mini-series Wolf Hall (2015).
