 David Holden created Young & Hungry the American Romantic sitcom. The multi-camera series features Emily Osment, Jonathan Sadowski, Aimee Carrero, Kym Whitley, and Rex Lee, and premiered on ABC Family (now Freeform) on June 25, 2014.On March 7, 2016, Freeform renewed the show for a fourth and final season that premiered on June 1 2016 and ended on August 3 in the 3rd of August. On October 24, 2016, Osment announced via Twitter that Young & Hungry had been renewed for another season.On March 15, 2018 it was officially announced that the fifth season would be the final. The last ten episodes aired on June 20th, 2018, and concluded on July 25 in 2018. A series finale movie was originally announced as a result of the decision to cancel, however it then cancelled on the 24th of August 2018.Set in San Francisco rich tech entrepreneur Josh Kaminski employs Gabi Diamond to be his personal chef. After having a few issues with Gabi's trial dinner they embark on a one-night relationship. The series follows the two as well as their daily lives. The show explores their relationship as well as their love life. Gabi faces a variety of challenges within the kitchen.
