 Lil Durk is an American rapper who has a net worth of $8 million dollars. He is the creator and chief executive officer of the OTF record label Only the Family. Durk gained a lot of attention following the release of his mixtape compilation "Signed to the Streets" in 2013, which lead to a record deal with Def Jam.He was born on October 19th 1992 in Chicago Illinois. Lil Durk, also known as Durk D. Banks, grew up in the tough neighborhood of Englewood in Chicago's South Side. His father was in prison at the age of Durk was only seven months old. Durk recalls that there were instances when there was not enough food at home when he was growing up.Durk had his first breakthrough at a young age through social media, which included channels like MySpace and YouTube. Durk, then 17, was a father. He dropped out from Paul Robeson High School to join the Black Disciples street gang. He began to run into legal trouble and was arrested on multiple gun charges, pleading guilty to aggravated unlawful usage of a firearm.
