 Larry David is an American comedian, actor, writer, director and television producer. As of this the time of writing, Larry David has a net worth of $400 million. He is most famous for creating the comedy shows "Seinfeld" as well as "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Larry's two comedy series have been producing content since 1989. Larry earned most of his money through ownership in backend syndication royalty payments from "Seinfeld." When the show went into syndication, Larry and co-creator Jerry Seinfeld each owned 15% of the show's backend equity. Further details on this are in the post. In 1989, Larry and Jerry Seinfeld collaborated to develop an original pilot series for NBC. The show was originally named "The Seinfeld Chronicles." The title was changed later to "Seinfeld." Larry was co-creator and executive producer of "Seinfeld." From 1989 to 1998, the show ran for 180 episodes. Larry was the creator of 62 episodes of "Seinfeld," which included the infamous episode "The Contest." David's contributions to the show have earned him two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series in 1993 as well as Outstanding Individual Achievement in the field of writing for Comedy Series in 1993.
