Graham McTavish, a Scottish actor and author was born 4 January 1961. His roles include Dwalin in The Hobbit movie trilogy, Vlad Dracula Tepes, Loki as well as in various Marvel animated films, William Munny and the Saint of Killers, in the AMC series Preacher and Dougal MacKenzie, as for his portrayals of William Buccleigh MacKenzie and William Buccleigh MacKenzie as part of Starz's Outlander series. The actor is also known for his role as Dwalin in Uncharted 2 and 3: Among Thieves' principal antagonist Zoran Lazarevic. He is also the creator of Clanlands: Whisky, Warfare and an Scottish Adventure Like No Other which ranked at No. 1 in the year 2020. 1 in the New York Times' Best Seller Lists for hardcover nonfiction as well as the combination of e-book and print nonfiction. In the school year, McTavish and a friend wrote and performed comedy sketches. This resulted in his drama teacher asking him to step in to play a character in Sheridan's The Rivals after the principal actor fell ill. McTavish went on to study at Queen Mary University of London, earning an education in English literature.
