Bojana Novakovic

 Bojana Novakovic (Serbian Cyrillic: Em 1/4 AmA mgAKHmgT Serbian Latin: Bojana Novakoviz) is an actress from Serbia and Australia. She is best known for her character as Det. Lizzie Needham on the drama television series Instinct (2017-2018).Novakovic's film roles include Drag Me to Hell (2009), Edge of Darkness (2010), Devil (2010), Generation Um... (2012), The Little Death (2014), I, Tonya (2017), and Birds of Prey (2020).Novakovic was born in Belgrade, SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia, to Serbian parents. Valentina Novakovic is her elder sister, and also an actress. She relocated to Australia in 1988, at seven years of age She was initially keen on becoming an ergonomist or a doctor, but she changed her decision and chose to pursue a career in performing arts. Novakovic studied at The McDonald College in Sydney. In 2003, Novakovic portrayed Randa in the ABC mini-series Marking Time. This role won her an AFI Award as "Best Actress for a Leading Role in the screen in a Television Drama or Comedy". As an actress, her film credits in Australia include Blackrock (1996), (where she was named dux of 1999) and she graduated at the National Institute of Dramatic Art with an undergraduate degree in dramatic arts in 2002.
