Raquel Welch

 Jo Raquel Welch (nye Tejada 5 September 1940) is an American actress.She first gained attention for her role in Fantastic Voyage (1966), after which she won an engagement with 20th Century Fox. They lent her contract to the British studio Hammer Film Productions, for which she produced One Million Years B.C. (1966). Even though she had just three dialogue lines in the film images of her wearing a doe-skin bikini became best-selling posters that turned her into an international sex symbol. She was later in Bedazzled (1967), Bandolero! (1968), 100 Rifles (1969), Myra Breckinridge (1970) and Hannie Caulder (1971). She also appeared in a variety of television specials.Through her role as a strong female characters, that helped her break the mould of the conventional sex symbol, Welch developed a unique film persona which made her an iconic figure of the 1960s and 1970s. Hollywood's relentless promotion of blonde beauty queens was partially behind her popularity in the mid-1960s.
