American actress Elizabeth Berkley was born July 28th, 1974. She was Jessie Spano in the television series Saved by the Bell and Nomi Malone/Polly Ann Costello in the film of Paul Verhoeven in 1995 Showgirls. She was the voice of Armitage III: Poly-Matrix's title role as well as having support roles in Roger Dodger and The First Wives Club. In the theater, she earned praise for her performance in Hurlyburly.Berkley was born and was raised in Farmington Hills located in a Detroit northern suburb community in the affluent Oakland County, Michigan. Jere Berkley is a gift basket businesswoman and Fred Berkley is a lawyer. She is the daughter of Fred Berkley. Jason is her brother. She was raised dancing in a basement dance studio that her parents had set up. Annie was her audition. When she became interested in pursuing dance professionally and traveled to New York City to train with dancers and choreographers.She performed in several ballets which included Swan Lake, and in 1983 she was a part of a couple of musicals.
